 Members of the RVA operate in a highly regulated environment, so a steady flow of information is crucial. The RVA produces magazines and fact sheets, and run conferences, seminars and workshops where members can participate in decision-making and hear first hand from the regulators about decisions which affect their businesses. Some of the other benefits we provide are legal opinions, rental agreements, sample employment contracts and so on. But using our bulk buying power is also important. In conjunction with the Bus and Coach Association, which together represent over 800 members, we have been able to negotiate competitive rates for our members which may not be available to them otherwise. Here is a summary of the key benefits available to RVA members: Rental Agreements RVA produces model agreements which comply with current legislation. These can be printed in duplicate or triplicate at attractive rates. Mobile phones and land lines Vodafone offer members special rates for phone rentals and calls. Communications We produce a monthly publication updating industry issues and news, trade benefits and a host of other things. The handbook provided includes industry information and contacts, employment and business topics, laws, regulations and other compliance matters. Fuel and Lubricants RVA members receive discounts on fuel, both petrol and diesel and lubricants through Mobil Oil or Caltex. Visa and MasterCard Fees RVA members get very competitive Visa and MasterCard merchant fees. Trade Discounts Please refer here for a listing of trade discounts available to RVA Members. Seminars and Conference We hold an RVA conference annually. We also run seminars at regular intervals to give you valuable business information. Information and assistance We provide information and assistance on a huge range of topics; regulatory and employment issues, engineering matters, OSH, and relevant legal opinions.
