5 Tips When Renting A Rental

1

Book your car before you go

It’s worth booking as soon as your trip is confirmed to get the type of car you want, at the right price.

2

Get your timings right

Choose times that give you room for manoeuvre, many don't realise that their rental car won't wait if they're late.

3

Read the small print

It’s worth taking a few minutes to be clear on what you’re buying, to avoid any issues later. You’ll find the car hire company's Terms & Conditions online, and also with your booking confirmation.

4

Don't fixate on the car

Unless otherwise stated, you’re not renting a specific make and model. In fact, rental cars are hired out on an 'or similar' basis, which means you could get any car of a similar size and specification to the one you booked.

5

Fill up

Unless you pre-paid for petrol, your rental usually doesn't include petrol, best to refill before returning to avoid extra charges.
