In conjunction with the Bus and Coach Association, we have used our combined purchasing power to negotiate competitive rates for our members which may not be available to them otherwise.

The RVA has negotiated a great new offer for members through Littleman Products. Their new TALK UP! headsets are a fantastic addition to your rental cars, providing a safety first attitude to driving in New Zealand.

The Littleman TalkUP! Bluetooth KV-817 headset is a portable device that can be used to communicate on the go. It is small and sleek in design yet carries the functions of most other headsets in the market at a much lower price. The Littleman Talk UP! Headset has Bluetooth V2.1 specifications and is compatible with most Bluetooth enabled phones. Tourism Radio
Tourism Radio provides a “virtual” tour guide service to self drive tourists travelling New Zealand. The Tourism Radio Guide keeps drivers fully informed about the area they are driving through, and all the prominent landmarks, scenic highlights and attractions are highlighted as they approach. Tourism Radio has set up a very simple, hassle free distribution model for you to take advantage of. You simply provide Tourism Radio with the bookings and Tourism Radio takes care of the rest.

The current RRP is set at NZ$39.95. This is a flat booking fee regardless of the duration of the booking. For every booking made you will receive a booking commission of $20.00 (GST inc).

Caltex Starcard
The Association has negotiated a discount of 7.5 cents off the Commercial National price for diesel and 1.5 cents off the Commercial National price for all grades of petrol.

Mobil Oil NZ Ltd

Discounts off Mobilcard Zone Price.
Petrol 4.4 cents per litre excl. gst (all grades)
Diesel 7 cents per litre excl. gst

Mobil divides the country into 8 zones. The Mobilcard Zone price is determined by product costs, retail market factors, and delivery differentials. In each zone is a single Mobilcard price for each fuel grade; this price will differ from zone to zone.

This price zoning allows customers to directly benefit from supply economics and increased pricing competition. The pricing is only available at Mobil Service Stations and Mobil Truckstops.

Should the pump price be less than the contract price ie the Mobilcard Zone price less the discount gst inclusive, the lower of the two will apply.

RVA have negotiated preferential pricing plans for AA Roadside Assist.

BNZ Visa and MasterCard
BNZ Visa offers all RVA members very competitive rates on the merchant fees for all Visa and MasterCard transactions. The rates vary from 1.37% to 1.67% for transactions where the card is available and from 1.96% to 2.26% where the card is not available.

BNZ also offer a range of other specialist services to Association members, including Payline (credit card payments via the internet), Altogether EFTPOS (a one-stop shop for all EFTPOS stationary, hardware, service, etc), Marketview (your business's market share and performance comparison with similar businesses around the country), M-Credit (payments via cell phone), and training opportunities.
